In this article 15 designs have been shortlisted in a competition calling readers to design a home for 100 years in the future. The contest asked readers to the consider the challenges that cities will face over the next century, and to propose innovative solutions for urban homes to overcome those challenges. Here are my favourite designs:

A world defined and controlled by technology, I like how it pushes the boundaries of the artificial world

The Urban Cloud Network by Cievanard Nattabowonphal

I love the dynamic structure and layering, it gives the city a sense of life, like it is a growing creature from all sides.

An Anti-Urban Monument by William Maddinson

Simple, yet incredibly effective. Maybe adapting the increasing climate change doesn't lie in overly complicated solutions.
